Life Insurance Policies: Accessing life insurance policy information typically involves a different portal than retirement accounts. Look for John Hancock life insurance account login options on their official website.
Other Financial Products: John Hancock may offer other products such as mutual funds or other investment vehicles. Each will likely require separate login credentials and access points.

john hancock account access: American Spring Walter R. Borneman, 2014-05-06 A vibrant look at the American Revolution's first months, from the author of the bestseller The Admirals. When we reflect on our nation's history, the American Revolution can feel almost like a foregone conclusion. In reality, the first weeks and months of 1775 were very tenuous, and a fractured and ragtag group of colonial militias had to coalesce rapidly to have even the slimmest chance of toppling the mighty British Army. American Spring follows a fledgling nation from Paul Revere's little-known ride of December 1774 and the first shots fired on Lexington Green through the catastrophic Battle of Bunker Hill, culminating with a Virginian named George Washington taking command of colonial forces on July 3, 1775. Focusing on the colorful heroes John Hancock, Samuel Adams, Mercy Otis Warren, Benjamin Franklin, and Patrick Henry, and the ordinary Americans caught up in the revolution, Walter R. Borneman uses newly available sources and research to tell the story of how a decade of discontent erupted into an armed rebellion that forged our nation. |

john hancock account access: Biological Ontologies and Semantic Biology John Hancock, 2014-10-03 As the amount of biological information and its diversity accumulates massively there is a critical need to facilitate the integration of this data to allow new and unexpected conclusions to be drawn from it. The Semantic Web is a new wave of web- based technologies that allows the linking of data between diverse data sets via standardised data formats (“big data”). Semantic Biology is the application of semantic web technology in the biological domain (including medical and health informatics). The Special Topic encompasses papers in this very broad area, including not only ontologies (development and applications), but also text mining, data integration and data analysis making use of the technologies of the Semantic Web. Ontologies are a critical requirement for such integration as they allow conclusions drawn about biological experiments, or descriptions of biological entities, to be understandable and integratable despite being contained in different databases and analysed by different software systems. Ontologies are the standard structures used in biology, and more broadly in computer science, to hold standardized terminologies for particular domains of knowledge. Ontologies consist of sets of standard terms, which are defined and may have synonyms for ease of searching and to accommodate different usages by different communities. These terms are linked by standard relationships, such as “is_a” (an eye “is_a” sense organ) or “part_of” (an eye is “part_of” a head). By linking terms in this way, more detailed, or granular, terms can be linked to broader terms, allowing computation to be carried out that takes these relationships into account. |

john hancock account access: The Cabinet Lindsay M. Chervinsky, 2020-04-07 Winner of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Excellence in American History Book Award Winner of the Thomas J. Wilson Memorial Prize “Cogent, lucid, and concise...An indispensable guide to the creation of the cabinet...Groundbreaking...we can now have a much greater appreciation of this essential American institution, one of the major legacies of George Washington’s enlightened statecraft.” —Ron Chernow On November 26, 1791, George Washington convened his department secretaries—Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, Henry Knox, and Edmund Randolph—for the first cabinet meeting. Why did he wait two and a half years into his presidency to call his cabinet? Because the US Constitution did not create or provide for such a body. Faced with diplomatic crises, domestic insurrection, and constitutional challenges—and finding congressional help distinctly lacking—he decided he needed a group of advisors he could turn to for guidance. Authoritative and compulsively readable, The Cabinet reveals the far-reaching consequences of this decision. To Washington’s dismay, the tensions between Hamilton and Jefferson sharpened partisan divides, contributing to the development of the first party system. As he faced an increasingly recalcitrant Congress, he came to treat the cabinet as a private advisory body, greatly expanding the role of the executive branch and indelibly transforming the presidency. “Important and illuminating...an original angle of vision on the foundations and development of something we all take for granted.” —Jon Meacham “Fantastic...A compelling story.” —New Criterion “Helps us understand pivotal moments in the 1790s and the creation of an independent, effective executive.” —Wall Street Journal |

john hancock account access: In the Name of Belief George M. Watson Jr., 2021-01-22 In 1672 Thaddeus and Elisabeth Haskins, a young couple, from Cape Cod, Massachusetts journeyed to Falmouth, Maine, hoping to establish a new life. In three years they became successful farmers producing abundant crops and managing a growing cattle herd until barely escaping with their two children from an Indian attack during King Philip's War. The Haskinses lost everything and limped back to their Cape roots, remaining there until their parents passed. With the proceeds of their families' estates the couple moved to Salem, Massachusetts, purchased and operated an inn, tavern, and several farms. They planned to acquire capital and return to their Falmouth lands. Thaddeus hired Almerk, a talented multibreed Indian, who became his right-hand man and later married his daughter. At Salem, Elisabeth was accused of witchcraft and died in prison awaiting trial. This enraged Thaddeus and enhanced his already intense loathing of the Puritan hierarchy and their religious beliefs. He passed his views on religion and the clergy to his progeny. Overtime the family became wealthy and prominent, if not dominant in Falmouth society. They acquired a fishing fleet, merchant vessels and an abundance of farm and forest lands. In short, they became colonial aristocrats. Their descendants participated in wars against the Indians and the French, the Revolutionary War, and the War of 1812, the Civil War, the Spanish American War and both world wars of the 20th century. The Haskins family became renowned for charity, assisting new settlers in surviving the extremes of the Maine winters. On many occasions their financial assistance helped Falmouth, later Portland endure hard times. In the 19th century the Haskins became international traders and bankers shifting some of their operations to New York, Canada and London while retaining their Portland mansion and position in the city's society. The family did not acquire all of its wealth legally. Critics considered their cooperation with the British during the Revolutionary War to be treason; and their later liquor smuggling flouted the law even as it added to the family fortune. The novel follows the Haskins family's adventurous march through three hundred years of war and peace ending with World War II and the final disposition of the Haskinses' Portland homestead and the dispersal of family members throughout the country and abroad. This is an account of a family's survival, and attainment of great wealth and influence, achieved largely through hard work and wise decisions. Throughout their history the Haskins preserved their skepticism of established religion. |

john hancock account access: American States of Nature Mark Somos, 2019-04-01 American States of Nature transforms our understanding of the American Revolution and the early makings of the Constitution. The journey to an independent United States generated important arguments about the existing condition of Americans, in which rival interpretations of the term state of nature played a crucial role. State of nature typically implied a pre-political condition and was often invoked in support of individual rights to property and self-defense and the right to exit or to form a political state. It could connote either a paradise, a baseline condition of virtue and health, or a hell on earth. This mutable phrase was well-known in Europe and its empires. In the British colonies, state of nature appeared thousands of times in juridical, theological, medical, political, economic, and other texts from 1630 to 1810. But by the 1760s, a distinctively American state-of-nature discourse started to emerge. It combined existing meanings and sidelined others in moments of intense contestation, such as the Stamp Act crisis of 1765-66 and the First Continental Congress of 1774. In laws, resolutions, petitions, sermons, broadsides, pamphlets, letters, and diaries, the American states of nature came to justify independence at least as much as colonial formulations of liberty, property, and individual rights did. In this groundbreaking book, Mark Somos focuses on the formative decade and a half just before the American Revolution. Somos' investigation begins with a 1761 speech by James Otis that John Adams described as a dissertation on the state of nature, and celebrated as the real start of the Revolution. Drawing on an enormous range of both public and personal writings, many rarely or never before discussed, the book follows the development of America's state-of-nature discourse to 1775. The founding generation transformed this flexible concept into a powerful theme that shapes their legacy to this day. No constitutional history of the Revolution can be written without it. |
